I led the successful initiative to transition ASI from traditional landlines to a VoIP system, addressing the challenges of a previously unsuccessful attempt, which made this project highly visible within the organization. I conducted a thorough analysis of the requirements from all departments, ensuring comprehensive documentation of their needs. Additionally, I organized company-wide training sessions to facilitate a smooth adoption process. The rollout of the ShoreTel phone system was executed seamlessly, with no disruption to service across user groups and call centers. The project was delivered on time and under budget. After completion, I provided ongoing support to leadership, delivering customized reports tailored to their specific requirements.
Following the acquisition of ASI’s majority shares by Progressive, AmCap needed to transition away from ASI's technology infrastructure and relocate. I played a key role in identifying the "must-haves" and "nice-to-haves" to ensure the concerns of the C-suite were thoroughly addressed, with a priority on enabling seamless remote work in the event of a hurricane. To support this, I identified and implemented RingCentral, a user-friendly, app-based voice solution. I collaborated closely with our architecture engineers to ensure a smooth transition from office-based to remote work environments. This proactive approach enabled AmCap to successfully navigate COVID-19 mandates, and our efforts were subsequently featured in a RingCentral case study.
I led the development of the Distribution Management System, designed to facilitate the appointment of agents and agencies in compliance with state regulations. In collaboration with key stakeholders, I conducted a thorough analysis of their workflows and pain points to ensure the system addressed their specific needs. I researched and evaluated multiple distribution platforms, including attending product demos, to identify the best solution for our users. After selecting Majesco's Distribution System, I worked closely with their engineering and integration teams to ensure full functionality before transitioning the system to end users.
Throughout my career, I have successfully led multiple company relocations and new office buildouts. In these projects, I collaborated with a variety of vendors, ensuring all parties remained on track to meet their target deadlines. Shortly after joining Raymond James Financial, I assumed leadership of the Fax2Mail initiative, which aimed to transition existing fax lines to a web-based faxing system. This project enabled users to access faxing capabilities remotely, while also delivering significant cost savings of $5,000 per month for the company. I developed and conducted comprehensive training sessions for all users and provided ongoing support to resolve any issues that arose during the implementation process.

During the implementation of the Distribution Management System, I also managed IT help desk responsibilities, providing assistance to employees as needed. To minimize downtime, I proactively stocked spare laptops at home, ensuring I could quickly set up new hires or replace faulty equipment. I regularly met with staff to deliver new hardware, doing whatever was necessary to ensure the team could remain productive with minimal disruption.
As Business Transformation Analyst of AmCap Insurance, I was relieved to have a disaster-proof cloud phone system and IT infrastructure in place even before the COVID-19 pandemic happened. RingCentral, it is now possible for them to vacate their office building without losing access to customers.
